The entry into hardened piping systems. Single-layer, internally hardened pipes and elbows for conveying slightly abrasive media. The components are internally hardened up to 45 HRC. The hardness increases linearly from the outer wall to the inner wall.

Two-layer pipe system for conveying abrasive material. The inner wear layer is evenly hardened to 63 HRC. The outer pipe is pressure-bearing and protects the inner pipe from torsional or bending forces. In use since 1980 and constantly improved.

Double-layer elbows and elbow outlet pipes for conveying highly abrasive material. Used at critical points in the overall conveying line. The inner wear layer is made of special CCI chilled cast iron with a hardness of 67 HRC.

Surface finish

Our piping systems are generally supplied in a primed version in the color RAL 1015 light ivory matte. Optionally, we offer a paint finish in many colors of the RAL Classic glossy color system. Special colors and special paint finishes on request. Please contact us, we will be happy to advise you.

Inner surface treatment

In some conveying applications, the quality of the inner surface of the pipe plays a major role in minimizing contamination of the conveyed material and keeping the purity of the product as high as possible. Especially when conveying glass fiber reinforced plastic pellets; this reduces waste, increases energy efficiency and increases your productivity. There are two sandblasting processes from which to choose. Please contact us, we will be happy to advise you.

We are certified according to ISO 9001:2015. This includes the AD-2000 regulations, which deal with the safety requirements of the European Pressure Equipment Directive (2014/68/EU), as well as certification in accordance with EN ISO 3834-2, which defines the requirements for a specialist welding company and regulates the principles for the quality assurance of welded products. Our products are subject to constant inspection. On request, we also carry out certified material tests (VT, MT, PT) and compressive strength tests. Please contact us, we will be happy to advise you.

Some media cause static charges due to friction when they are conveyed. If this continues to build up, it can be a source of ignition in potentially explosive areas. As secondary explosion protection in accordance with ATEX, ESSER TWIN PIPES can be equipped with earthing lugs to discharge possible electrical voltages.
