Single-layer, internally hardened pipe system for hydraulic and pneumatic conveying of slightly abrasive media. The pipes and elbows are internally hardened up to 50 HRC. The hardness decreases linearly from the inside to the outside.

Two-layer pipe system for hydraulic and pneumatic conveying of abrasive material. The inner pipe is evenly hardened to 63 HRC. The outer pipe is pressure-bearing and protects the inner wear layer from acting torsional or bending forces. In use since 1980 and constantly improved.

THE SECOND LAST ELBOW IN THE BOOM IS EXPOSED TO EXTREMELY HIGH WEAR.
13

In most boom positions, the last and next to the last boom arm are showing downwards. The concrete flow will interrupt and the concrete falls vertically into this elbow. That causes an extremely high impact wear. We recommend using one impact elbow for pumps up to three boom arms. By four and more boom arms two impact elbows should be used.

The second last elbow in the boom is exposed to extremely high wear.

In most boom positions, the last and next to the last boom arm are showing downwards. The concrete flow will interrupt and the concrete falls vertically into this elbow. That causes an extremely high impact wear.
34

We recommend using one impact elbow for pumps up to three boom arms. By four and more boom arms two impact elbows should be used. A comparably high wear load occurs with the 90-degree elbows in the turret. Due to the pulsating pump thrust, similar effects can occur as with the impact elbows in the boom. In this case here we recommend the use of special turret elbows.

The second last elbow in the boom is exposed to extremely high wear.

In most boom positions, the last and next to the last boom arm are showing downwards. The concrete flow will interrupt and the concrete falls vertically into this elbow. That causes an extremely high impact wear.

We recommend using one impact elbow for pumps up to three boom arms. By four and more boom arms two impact elbows should be used. A comparably high wear load occurs with the 90-degree elbows in the turret. Due to the pulsating pump thrust, similar effects can occur as with the impact elbows in the boom. In this case here we recommend the use of special turret elbows.
